Worst sci-fi spaceship?

Recommended Posts

I can not remember the name of the film/series.

It was an attempted re-vamp of Captain Nemo, poorly done, low budget.

The villain's submarine (I know, not strictly a spaceship) was basically a chopped about Eagle transporter!

The beak, spine and engines were all clearly Eagle Transporter!

Ladies & Gents,

I think we have a winner, or at least in the top three.

A cross between a '58 Caddy & the Albert Hall with a hint of salad spinner.

(And I hope someone can post a photo for me 'cos this one is a Doozy....)

From Daleks, Invasion Earth 2150 - the Flying saucer.

I don't think anyone else has mentioned this one.

I tried watching the film last night & gave up after 20 minutes. Awful stuff.

They go to 2150 in the Tardis & the first thing you see,

Is an advert on a wall for Sugar Puffs!

All the wrecked cars are 1950's models.

Script sucks, Acting sucks & that saucer, Euuuck!

HI,though not sctrictly a sci-fi movie in the real sense,Anyway having just watched Ben Affleck,s Argo,i must say that was the worst sci fi,space ship/rocket model ever, youd have thought with a budget supplied by the C.i.A,they might have made a better model, though the poster,s were quite good?....cheers Don

Given that Argo is a complete work of fiction anyway, I'd think the spaceship model is the least of the films problems.

If you can bear to keep watching, Sandra Dickinson is there too. Apparently this is where they met.

And there was me thinking their first appearance together was on the TV version of Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Sandra was Trillion and Peter was 'The Dish of the Day' on the Menu at Milliways.

The Tomorrow People was six years before that.
