Rizzo
This is based on the Model Airways kit, with a lot of scratch built updates. The kit doesn't have a metal cowling, or the 'hump' over the guns that gives the aircraft it's name, so I designed these in 3dsMax, and had them printed out. All the rigging points and cockpit instruments were designed in Photoshop and then made into a photo etch sheet. It took me about 10 month in total, and I'll admit to rushing some things towards the end. But I had fun making it, and I'll probably make another some day. I've three of the hooligans and they are so mischievous its not true! Excellent work on that model, very well done! Yep, that cat is obsessed with destruction, and was really determined to get hold of the Camel for a bit of a rework. The hardest part about completing this model was keeping it away from those claws for the duration of the build. She did give up in the end, but decided it's now a cat bed instead. Macca333
Incredible! I intend showing it to my cadets who have recently started modelling so they can see just what can be achieved. I only hope it doesn't scare them off. It really is the most wonderful piece of work. Many, many congratulations.
