robw_uk Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 hmmm after a generic base that I can use to pose finished kits for photography. Looked at the review of the Mini Art country road BUT think for smaller vehicles (my Pz1A for example) they would be lost on such a big base... Have looked at SB Models "Street Corner" but that has the opposite effect - perhaps too small for larger vehicles (not that I have anything larger than a StuG III or PzIV at the moment. any suggestions I could look at (making my own is not an option just yet)... after something for 1/35 WWII that can be used for France, Germany, Russia (as I said generic)... preferably rural but all suggestions considered thanks all
Baggers Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 The MiniArt bases may be of interest http://miniart-models.com/ I've started 36002 Russian Street w/Advertising Column" and 36003 "Street w/Park Wall" and are about the right size for most things up to Panzer IV size but probably a bit small for anything larger.
robw_uk Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 yeah have looked - thats where I saw the Country Road (plus review on here)... will keep looking...
Sgt.Squarehead Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 (edited) I reckon you need something with a distinctly Russian feel for the Flakpanzer Rob, they only served in Army Group South IIRC (The unit was wiped out at Stalingrad). Edited May 1, 2013 by Sgt.Squarehead
