gregg136
Just finished this wonderful model, there's no oars or sails because no matter what I always think the Sails you get are horribly inferior. It is a dream to build, it goes together with no fuss and the only bit of "flash" was on the supports for the mast. Although you're going to need massive amounts of patience with the shields.Enjoy. ignore what looks like loose thread, it's a bit of rubbish I didn't throw out.

foxy
Great work there Gregg. Thats a fine Viking ship you have there. Like Jimbuna, the shields must have taken you ages, or are they decals, transfers.
gregg136
They're transfers, the problem with them was they have the raised bit in the middle so when you apply them it creases, as you can see in the 2nd photo.Although they don't look so numerous on the sheet once they're cut they don't seem to end. roymattblack
That's blinkin' amazing!!!! I've been tempted to have a go at an 'oldie' boat for a while. You might just have convinced me. Just a small point though...... All those shield decals. Did you use any Microsol? Incredible stuff. Just paint it on the decals - even now that it's all finished - and they will sink completely onto the shields with no creases or wrinkles. Give it a bash. All the best, Roy.
