louiex2
Looking forward to the build; the 2D is one of my favourite endurance cars of the 1960s.
heloman1
I love the Chaparrals, and the Fujimi kit looks like it will not disappoint, it's just pity that they have been ignored for so long. I've built the Le Mans Miniatures, 2F a resin curbside kit, which looks good once finished. I also had a stab at the sucker car for a 32nd slot racer. You might want to look at Chaparral by Falconer and Nye, it has to be the bible on the marque. Looking forward to your build progress. Madmonk
Very nice looking kit of a great looking car. Have fun with the moulded in engine detail! Looking forward to seeing progress on this one. Cheers, Warren
Bengalensis
Excellent choice of a wonderful car! I think I have never seen this kit built, so looking forward to this.

Mark
Ditto to not ever having seen this kit built. It does look great though and the plan view with the 'coke bottle' shape, all curvy and lovely and... I think I better lie down! Great choice and looking forward to seeing it being built up. Peter Lloyd
Well I got a nice coat of primer on... But trying to paint in the depths of a Tasmanian winter meant I was tempted to use a low oven, which I didn't set low enough: With a massive failure rate at Group Build models, I am retiring. Madmonk
Come on Peter, a bit of filler and some sanding should have you back on track!! Seriously that has got to hurt, I tend to use a fan heater rather than the oven, sorry you have to retire. Better luck wit the next GB. heloman1
Paint it yellow, stick it in a burger bun, no body will notice. I feel you paint I love the Chaparrals! Colin
Bengalensis
Oh that was sad to see. It doesn't take much heat to go to far. I suppose if we try to see something bright in it we all know that Le Mans is a gruelling race that always takes some tough retirements...
