Redboost
Hi folks, the other Brengun Tiffie kit is due soon and it will cover the mid production versions with car door canopy. My kit is enhanced with Brengun etched and some spares coming from older CMR kit. My personal take on this kit: The JP613 was personal mount of Squadron Leader Jiri Manak, the sole Czechoslovak leader of Typhoon-equipped squadron. On 28 August 1943 he led the squadron as Hurry bombers cover over Welmedinghe, The Netherlands, when JP613 was hit by flak and he was forced to land on water off shore. Fortunately he managed to lay down the beast successfully into wavy sea and later was captured. Eventually he survived the war and nazi lagers only to be later arrested by communists after coup's in 1948. After 1990 he was fully rehabilited and died in 1992. tonyot
Yet another stunner there Libor and a great back story too, what happened to Squadron Leader Jiri Manak between 1948 and 1990, was he in prison or did he escape to the west? I`m currently building the first Typhoon kit released by Brengun and was wondering whether this one can be built as a car door version instead, as it includes the car door canopy, would you say that this is a possibility or does the release that you have built include many more extra parts?# All the best and well done again on such a fantastic model, Tony O

keith in the uk
Its nice but the paint job to my eye looks a little bit washed out The area under the rear canopy should be Black. The spinner seems to have a panel line that shouldnt be there ? All very minor nic picks but a lovely build never the less
woody37
Wow, If you'd of told us it was 1/48, I wouldn't of believed you as it looks 1/32. 1/72 ??????
