Myrsky
Hello friends. I show you my last finished model. It's Consolidated PB4Y-2 Privateer from Revell. Correct model but serves only as a basis for making a Privateer after many modifications.I added the resin engines High Planes Models, vacuformed canopies of Squadron and brass barrels of MiniWorld. As I always do in my work, it's fully riveted and I made new panel lines.Hope you like friends.RegardsFernando 10

NicPl
just out of curiosity...what scale is it..?? If it's Revells then it must be the ex-Matchbox kit => 1/72. Nice build, especially the paint and weathering is top notch!

David H
WOW!!! Talk about inspirational! Very Nice Job!! Where did you source the propellers from? I didn't know High Planes made resin replacement nacelles. I have the Cobra ones and they're just....Meh. How long did you take to build it? Did the installation of the right wing in the socket drive you crazy like it did me? Cheers, david
Myrsky
Thank you very much friends. I'm surprised so popular with this model and I really appreciate it.On the model I have to clarify that it is the Revell kit in 1/72, which is actually the old Matchbox 80's. He has a lot of work but I think it was worth. To give you an idea of the work I show a few pictures of the process: Thank you very much again, folks. Great regards Fernando

Did the installation of the right wing in the socket drive you crazy like it did me? Cheers, david Thank you David. The High Planes replacement nacelles are specific for this model. It is a bit difficult to paint but definitevely a great adition. I forgot to say that propellers are from Quickboost, much better than original kit propellers. I have spent 4 months on it, David, too many times when I have a lot of kits on my stash... Yes, something is wrong in the socket of right wing. I had to open it a bit.
