Sgt.Squarehead
An absolutely splendid model! I've heard there's a very nice new Irish Gloster Gladiator kit on the market.....

Natter
I've heard there's a very nice new Irish Gloster Gladiator kit on the market..... I have the RS Models Magister with the Irish markings, the Airfix Spitfire Vb with the Airwaves Seafire III conversion and the Carpena exotic Spit/Seafire decals and the Airfix Gazelle with markings from the Max Decals. The Max Decals sheet has lots of others too. If I bought the new Gladiator and built everything I have in the stash at my current pace, and bought nothing else, I would be ready to build it around 2027 - the year, not the time! Many thanks to everyone for their kind comments throughout the build.
Sgt.Squarehead
Is the Airwaves Seafire set 1/72? If so is there any possibility you could scan the photo-etch fret at 1:1 for me please.....It would be a godsend for a stalled project; Basically I want to copy a few of the bits in plastic card. Lightningboy2000
I have a finished 1/72 Matchbox Walrus & it certainly doesn't look like that! Nowhere near as good as that! You are teaching us all some very good modelling techniques! Martin

Graham T
Outstanding job which is inspiring me to make the 1/48 CA kit the next project but I doubt it'll be as accomplished as this in 1/72!
Doug Rogers
That's brilliant Dave, love it when someone gives a load of tlc to an average kit and ends up with a real diamond.
