chuckb1 198
A man can only write REFER to achieve Merit and Distinction you need to Blah, Blah, Blah Blah so many times a day. I am glad at least it is the Warfare Studies module. At least I know what I am talking about on this one so they cannot whinge and whine at the grade and say that my assessment was unfair. I usually reply, "Well nearly 30 years warfare experience in various theaters of operation kind of indicates that this is my field of expertise" Silence usually occurs after this. Killingholme 705
I have only completed the wings on my Revell Dambusters kit. With this kit's obvious problems in the shape of the upkeep bomb-bay fairings, I feel perfetcly justified ditching that kit (perhaps sticking the wings on my czechmaster York conversion) and buying the airfix instead. The detail on the flaps and the upkeep machinery look excellent! exciting times for Airfix! regards, Will Edited April 11, 2013 by Killingholme
chuckb1 198
Rob it is really nice, the panel lines in my opinion are not trench deep there seems to be a wealth of detail internally even down to the bomb sight, (not the triangle of wood with two nails) but the actual aircraft one. I have to say I am impressed. flex the card people, flex that plastic
DaveCS 192
Oh man.. two kits.. in the same day (Typhoon and now the Lanc) and BOTH with an RCAF connection - THANK YOU AIRFIX !!!! I am a happy man!! Cheers, Dave

chuckb1 198
Ok had a good rummage through all the parts and it looks like all the parts are there for the standard BIII version. Everything apart form the payload by the look of it.
avro683 113
Thanks for sharing, that's definitely going on the shopping list. Is it me or are the nacelles conspicuous by their absence?

AlCZ 291
Hi, i have in my stash a five Lancasters - standard bomber, Grand Slam and Tallboy from Hasegawa and standard bomber and DamBuster from Revel(New tool, not ancient kit for sixties...)l. I read a Revell have a pair inaccuraties and shape problem, Hasegawa have poor interior.... Is this new Airfix superior of Hasegawa and Revell ? It is a best Lancaster ? Can you compare a Hasegawa and Revell kit with this new tool Airfix ? Thank you.
