juergenkurz
Hello all, since MPM ist preparing more V2 related stuff in 1/72 I ve uploaded some scale drawings (however in 1/76) I made a while ago to share, for everyone interested: https://www.box.com/s/mwq6e9px1lj1mpvivz3x They are about the pump trailer for the B-Stoff (alcohol), the T-Stoff preheater trailer (used at cold weather conditions), and the big 2axle cable carrier trailer. All this trailers were never released in kit form, they would have been all at the firing postion around or near the rocket. Enjoy! bootneck
Hi Juergen, thank you very much for posting your drawings; I'm sure that they will be very helpful. I like to scratchbuild vehicles in 1:144 scale and I hope to use your plans to make a little diorama. Can I ask if you have any other drawings for this type of subject? Best Wishes Mike
juergenkurz
Dear Mike, yes I have more drawings, either ready to upload in a while, or still to finish. They are: - Compressor trailer 2axle (for technical troop /inspection) - Workshop trailer 2axle for V2 troops -Maschinensatz A generator trailer - Rotary converter trailer (HP to LP voltage technical troop) -small 1axle cable carrier trailer (towed behind Steyr 2000 generator truck) - B Stoff tank truck 2900 ltr (different body as the kfz 384 tanker), yes the rocket unit had 2 B- Stoff tanker the other housed 3500 ltr. -Magirus towed inspection ladder AL 17 (only side view) They are all based on very basic original (outline) drawings which were not to a certain scale, I ve improved / corrected these ones with the help of many pictures from the Technical Manuals and reports (these photos are Museum copyright and therefore I cant post them in public). It was towed by the Steyr Generator truck and carried the cable connections between the Steyr and the rocket. Regards, Juergen Kurz

bootneck
These are very useful drawings Juergen and will help to build models for a V2 diorama. Thank you again. Mike
juergenkurz
Thanks Mike. A while ago I ve built a Magirus towed ladder (Anhaengeleiter (AL) 17) in 1/72, used at the firing position for final checks on the rocket on the side the Meillerwagen platform coudnt reach. I used a OOP fire ladder kit which fitted the lenght and size of the ladder sections for this conversion. You can remove the tow bar on the kit and extend the sections to lean it on the rocket .
