Your builds are immaculate, Tom, and you make it look so effortless!

You're too kind! I can assure you there is some hard graft going on behind the scenes!

Another update - I've decalled the F-14 (I used the excellent CAM decal sheet) and all went on without any issues:

I've also completed the ordinance and fuel tanks, ready for installation later:

Next job is some satin varnish to kill the high gloss sheen and hopefully reproduce an in-scale representation of the gloss finish seen on the real thing.

The F-14 has had a couple of coats of satin varnish and the masking removed:

I have also used Humbrol's metal cote (burnt steel) to replicate the exhaust areas:

The landing gear has also been painted and weathered:

And added to the main airframe along with the missiles etc:

Only a few bits and bobs to add and she'll be done.
