Hardtarget
I shall start off with the black bunny scheme of VX-4 'Evaluators'. I shall be using masks and additional fret if its required as there is a fret included in this boxing. Edited July 15, 2013 by Hardtarget
Giorgio N
The 1/72 hasegawa PE parts are adequate and to be honest I don't know if I'd use a PE set for the consolles and panels. Where however a set can be useful is for the seatbelts. One thing to check: some tomcat boxes have PE parts that are slightly wider than the plastic parts where they are to be glued. Better check this and if needed trim the parts before painting.... guess how I know...
Hardtarget
Thanks G. ill make a mental note when im building the pit. The PE with the kit though 'should' fit snugly to the panels.
Hardtarget
Made a start yesterday, and swift progress it was with additional work today. Tub with bang seats. Still need to add the ejector handles but wanted to leave them off till the last min to prevent them falling off. Fuselage top and botom cemented in place with a few other parts attached ready to accomodate the intakes. Just beofre this stage everything got a coating of white seeing as most areas internally are just that. Prep work on the intakes. Main intakes cemented. All parts accounted for including which is not in the pic the intake fan. Rear end constructed with the added PE. The they all meet each other. Weight was added inside the nose cone Next up i think a bit of spraying.
Giorgio N
Looking good ! And I see your tomcat fits better than the ones I've built before. Now I'm thinking it could be due to the modeller rather than the kit..
