Getting everything lined up just-so must've been a real adventure, though. I share others' opinions about the hulking, hydraulically steered turret for the 20mm cannon. Though it looks out of place, that is exactly how it looks in photos in my references. One alternative would be to go out and purchase the Squadron / Falcon NZ set of canopies for the FW-200, which includes the smaller, sleeker FW-19 turret used on several aircraft. It certainly improves the look. You'll need to fashion a 7.9mm MG, but shouldn't be a problem. I suspect that Evo would not be bothered since the model was built back in 2013 and his last visit to the forum was in 2016.
Greg Law
Yes the FW 200-C3 Was a nicer looking plane. I think I saw a 1/72 kit of one recently. It might have been Trumpeter. I have a 1/48 FW 200-C4 on top of my cabinet, but I didn't build it. I got it made in China just before I took up the hobby again. Now if they released a 1/48 FW 200C-3 I would build that.
