Hello all,

I picked up a HB 1/16 Tiger 1 today at Cosford, for the measley sum of £55!!

Yes, it's toylike in it's construction, but at less than 7% of the retail of the Full function Tamiya kit, it's a bargain in my opinion. I guess, even compared to the Trumpy King Tiger and T-34's, it's still a good buy. I have the Tamiya kit and Aber PE set in my stash... maybe I'll bite the bullet and build it soon?

Anyway, lets get to the point... would you like to see a build of this kit, or have you all been put off by the total hammering this kit has received across the 'net? I'll happily take any pics you want to see, or do a full build feature?

I look forward to your replies...

Nige

Go for it. I've got one as well, so would like to see how it builds. I bought an aluminum barrel from Welsh Dragon models which seems to fit quite well and some rubber zimeritt meant for the Heng long tank which also fits this one.

Yes... I'd like to see it. Having reviewed it here, I'm aware of some of its shortcomings, but there are others I'm sure I've not picked up on.

I saw that kit for the first time at a convention yesterday in Belgium at only 75 Euros.

At first I assumed it was a bargain price. It wasn't. According to the vendor it's retail price.

Great from HB to bring such big panzers at such a low price.
