Skyhunter66
Afternoon! Just started using the Vallejo Plastic Putty and seems quite good for small gaps. The question is how do you remove the excess putty? Normally I would used lacquer thinner so clear up the excess with for example squadron putty - would this be right for the Vallejo? thanks Chris
Silver Fox
if it is the white stuff, I let it dry for a few minutes the swipe over it with a damp cotton bud. That removes the excess.

Ok thanks - yes its the white stuff and I applied it last night so I guess it should be quite solid by now!
Silver Fox
It sands away very easily and if you use a fine grit paper/sanding stick normally it leaves no scratches
viscount806x
Water dissolves it so it is a 'no no' for wet sanding.
ice35
I use a cotton bud and nail varnish remover, it does the job quite nicely. Richard
