Dave Fleming
Picked up a couple of the Revell/ex-Matchbox SdKfz 251 Hanomags cheaply from Modelzone, mainly for my son (who loves the little dioramas as much as I did at his age), then found an ESCI one in a box in the Garage(whilst looking for some Romans....) so am going to have a go... Can anyone give me any ponters on colours of the crew compartment for early war examples? TIA Dave
bigh827
The insides are the same color as the out side. I have seen people paint the area from the seats to the dash board ivory, but my books and most of the photos I have seen say and show all grey insides. C that were built in late 42 are Panzer yellow on the inside and out side, and the 251's used in Africa many times had sand out side but still grey inside. Hope this helps.
