stevej60
HI everyone, thanks for the comments on my hawk post so here,s my only other 1/48 build.my first sprayed kit from last year. not weathered other than the tyres and a little wash on the few recessed lines.I only have a basic revell bottle fed brush so cannot pre-shade as per some of the great builds I see on this site.thanks Steve.
keefr22
That's a lovely looking finish from such a simple airbrush - I like that!! keef
phat trev
Great looking Skyraider! Just ad a bit (actually a lot) of exhaust staining and that will finish it off perfectly. ps: make a paper mask for the stain flows on the side and even if you have the basic revell airbrush (like me) then a decent finnish can be achieved, could even add some dry brushing of different shades or a bit of chalk when dry? heloman1
If that is the old Monogram kit from about thirty years ago, then you've made a very nice job of it. It was a good kit in it's day but may have been overtaken by something out of Japan. Thanks for sharing it, time to bight the bullet an go for a compressor though!
