Japanese 'Jag'

Superb model! That colour scheme is always very striking.

I wouldn't say that the Mitsubishi F-1 and T-2 were copies of the Jaguar as such. They were designed for the same role which resulted in them having a similar form. Look at the F-15 and Mig-25. Or the Concorde and Tu-144. In nature this would be called "convergent evolution".

They have licence built Adours though.

Cracking model and very fetching in that scheme.

give over lol them planes are instantly recogniosable as compleely seperate designs (concordski almost certainly has knocked off intel)

the f1-t2 are clearly developed from the jag in the same way the did with the f16

They're actually not developed from the Jaguar at all. They share a common engine but that's it. The T-2 was developed as an advanced jet trainer for the JASDF that was then developed into the F-1. The fact that it looks a bit like a Jaguar is purely coincidental and stems from the aircraft having similar roles.
