spiton Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Great painting !! The best Flogger in this scale I have ever seen !
VG 33 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Fantastic Pavol ! Would you like sharing more pics about the other two Floggers ? Will you attend the Brno Modelling Show next June? I will be there. Congratulations. Patrick
Sarcococca Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Hi Pavol, 3 models of the same type in the same amazing skill, that sounds like endurance and experienced craftsmanship! Chapeau!
pavolSK Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Guys, thank you very much for your positive reactions! It's a nice reward for me! Patrick, yes, it's possible that I will visit the MODELLBRNO and I take all my MiGs. Sarcococca, it's my mistake habit to build more of the same kits at once, on the other hand, it saves the time and reduce inventory ... The second shark is MiG-23ML Flogger-G #4645 with period of service from 1982 till 1998 in Czechoslovak/Czech Air Force. This flogger has the unusual shades of camouflage colors, which obtained after revision at the end of its career. Used armament: 2x R-60 (AA-8 Aphid), 1x R-23T + 1x R-23R (AA-7 Apex). Pavol 5
VG 33 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Patrick, yes, it's possible that I will visit the MODELLBRNO and I take all my MiGs. Pavol I will bring some kits and my RV Lybian Rebel Mig-23ML too. Patrick
Bri48 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Your Mig 23's are simply outstanding and the finish is brilliant!
Fishbed Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Now these I do like. I'd struggle to get that finish in 48th let alone 72nd Tim
pavolSK Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 Thanks again guys! The last member of this shark group is attacker MiG-23BN Flogger-H #9863 with period of service from 1983 till 1994 in Czechoslovak/Czech Air Force. Used additional armament: 2x UPK-23-250 twin gun pod and 2x UB-32M rocket pod. Pavol 7
VG 33 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Very nice again this one. I've got the 23-BN too but my wife prefers the blue/green Cuban scheme so SMBO... Patrick
Milt79 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Hello Pavol, This is seriously impressive! I have build the ML version too, and I found it a really nice kit! I took me quite a while though to finnish it (not necessarily because of the kit ) I can't imagine how much work it was for you to build 3! And with conversions too!! Really good job! Do you perhaps have a work in progress topic? I'm really curious how you build it... how long did this project take? gr. Mark
woody37 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Wow, a gorgeous trio. I can see you enjoyed weathering it too, really adds to the finish.
pavolSK Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 Thanks guys! Mark, I have stored "in progress" pictures of these floggers in my album: https://plus.google.com/photos/100560297990692903485/albums/5645691089356387745 In summary I spent 530 hours on this project. The one and half year with breaks... Pavol
