pabbi
wow, looks great ! what do you use to make the "water" ?
swordfish fairey
Thanks for the nice comments guys, it has been an enjoyable build, something different....pabbi, the water is Vallego acrylic Water effects, Atlantic blue, it is just stippled,on allowed to dry and then dry brushed white to bring out the detail. It looks far better on glass or perspex with green on the other side to add depth. I have another base on the go at the moment with a larger 'water' area and that is using perspex as a base........Smudge

swordfish fairey
The A-90 is now on it's display base that is a cheap Wilkinsons picture frame with acrylic "glass". The last one has the supports removed.... And looks a little like this....... She will be finished soon, although I am not over happy with the propeller effect, any suggestions? (clean ones please)...............Smudge Edited March 24, 2013 by swordfish fairey

swordfish fairey
It has two aircraft electrical pins holding it up , but I removed them digitally (if that's the right word?) in the last picture. If you look at the last one in post #12 you can see them...Thanks for the "awesome" I appreciate it..................Smudge
