At Sea Posted March 7, 2013 Share Posted March 7, 2013 Hi, I need some advice, I am using humbrol enamels airbrushed with humbrol enamel thinners. Can I use Humbrol Clear over the top? What should I use to matt it after I have finished? currently use Humbrol Satin Cote... Anyone with experience of this let me know their prefered products / techniques. Thanks. pte1643 Posted March 7, 2013 Share Posted March 7, 2013 Yup, easy peasy. Just be aware that, if you are using Enamel paints, you should usually avoid using an Acrylic based clear coat on top. Enamel Over Acrylic is fine. Acrylic over Enamel with caution. Certainly only when the Enamel is TOTALLY dry. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Will post some pics in ready for inspection soon as I have been on a real journey with my builds over the last few years, taking me from 'school boy' modelling to a mpore grown up approach.
