Radleigh
Really want this kit at some point, some smart schemes out there for a goony bird!!
Michaelvk
Ditto.. The SAAF Dazzle-Dak is one I'd like to try.. A mate of mine's dad flew it at one point.. And recently written off in a botched landing by a pilot of questionable skills, but apparently and excellent navigator.. But I digress..
Phil Podmore
It will be a standard OD/NG bird with D-Day stripes!

Phil Podmore
Sorry for the lack of photos! The interior is painted, and now I'm onto the inexorable task of 29 sets of seatbelts for the interior seats! I definitely WILL get some photos tonight! Phil Podmore
I must say that mine isn't going to be yellow! It's going to be OD/NG with freshly painted D-Day stripes - ready for disgorging paratroops over the Cotentin peninsula! Edit: I've just found out that the airframe I'm going to replicate was a member of 79th TCS of the 436th TCG and delivered part of the 377th PFA (Parachute Field Artillery) Battalion of the 101st AB Division on the dawn of D-Day. It was ship #38 of serial #10 and flown by 1st Lt. William K. Watson. I love all these details, now I just need to find a photo of her! venomvixen
I was under the impression from several interweb experts that this kit was complete rubbish and not worth a kilo of bat sick. Yours appears to be very nice, I may have to purchase one now.
charley420
How much is a kilo of bat sick worth then? I've read that various bits are misshapen you know the usual put downs by so called experts, but then if 100% accuracy is your thing then you should be making it from tin and fabric and not plaggy eh? Looks lovely and for the £40 wonderland are knocking them out for its a bargain.
