AndyC Posted April 25, 2013 Author Share Posted April 25, 2013 Definitely in the home straight with this one. Firstly did some post shading and then added a Flory wash (Dark Dirt). Sprayed Tamiya Smoke for the exhaust soot. Trimmed the prop-blurs and primed and painted them. I used my compass-cutter to mark out 30mm tape for masking the yellow tips and then sprayed these Tamiya Lemon Yellow I sawed off the ends of the prop location stubs so that I could trap the blurs inside the hubs and then glued them up...here is a teaser as to how she will look... I have got to say - I love the look of them!..Final jobs to do are the wing tip light glass, then a semi-matt coat. I have drilled the base and mounted the rod ready to receive her.
