Airfix 1:72 Sea Harrier

Recommended Posts

Well, here she is.. Last thing before running out the door to catch a flight to the frozen tundra that is Europe.. First few pics are sans pitot, but then i found it on the carpet an hour or two ago.. Probably not the best shaped SHAR out there, but not terrible to build.. Forgot how small these buggers were.. I'm fairly certain the outrigger legs are at the wrong angle too..

See what you mean about the outriggers- I thought they were more square to the ground than square to the wing although I can't seem to find a good enough pic to confirm! But a great job, it looks really good with such a nice paint job

Looks sharp - I had to double check the top of the screen to make sure it was 1:72 ;)

Thanks lads..

Very nice build. I did not realize the tailplanes deflected that much.

Thanks for posting pics.

Harold

I doubt they do, but typically the glue had set before I could do anything about them without destroying them.. I'll do it properly next time..

A nice build and a lovely finish, I wish I could do as well, Tempting to pull out from the stash (some many kits, so little time)
