Rabbit Leader
All NMF buffs, OK, I have to come clean here. I'm pretty sure I've ruined my little Airfix Mustang by using one of Testors Buffable lacquers (Stainless Steel). It just looks way too dark to me. I've buffed it, coated it with clear, however I'm not happy with it. Question. Can I spray a coat of Alclad Aluminium White over the clear finish? Not sure what the result will be. I read that Alclad likes a good primer, so was wondering if the hard clear finish would take it or not. Hopefully someone has tried it and has the answer. Cheers .. Dave. SaintsPhil
Why not give it a light coat of the Alclad Black primer first just to be on safe side?
Mike
Yes you can... I was doing that same thing over Alclad Aqua Gloss (almost the same thing) only the other day. The nice smooth finish makes Alclad shine like a new pin
