petr@SpecialHobby
Sometimes things are going slowly and we need to finish other projects sooner. This is the case. Today I have only a small update for you who are interested in the Mk.II version. It is the final (re-worked) design of the spinner assembly and front row of the radial engine. Here we have all three spinners and props for various versions of the Tempest: at the top is the Mk.II spinner, in the middle is Mk.V with DH (rounded) and Rotol (pointed) props and at the bottom is for Mk.VI spinners for Mk.II, Mk.V and Mk.VI

PMG Offramp
Man, that detailing is superb ! I can't wait, the Tempest was always my favourite in the WWII timeframe. Can you confirm the major components will be the usual short run technology and the smaller parts the steel moulds technology ?

mick b
No denying there is some extra effort being put this, a November release in time for Telford would have been nice and stolen Airfix's thunder?! Mick

petr@SpecialHobby
Hello, I´d like to ask for a help here, we are (yes, slowly) finishing our pattern-model for the 1/32 Hawker Tempest Mk.II / V / VI. Now we have a problem with the Mk.VI´s underbelly air-filter fairing (see drawing below) which we´d like to portray correctly, but alas we have no photos for this detail. There are two sets of drawings available to us, these attached below and also a wonderful set from Mr. Bentles Each drawing is, sadly, depictiong this fairing differently. We would really appreciate your help. Thanks a lot!Petr / MPM Production

petr@SpecialHobby
Yes, main components are short-tun, smaller in steel or aluminium moulds.

petr@SpecialHobby
Hello Raphael and Didier, There are separate elevators and a rudder in the model. So I hope you will enjoy building this model with the tail control surfaces deflected. And yes, you are right, the other surfaces are left fixed - the ailerons and the wing flaps. We thought it might help with better fit of the wing parts. See the separate elevators and rudder on the accompanied photos: 3D of the fuel tanks at our blog: http://www.mpmkits.eu/2014/11/tempest-3d-rendering-of-90-gal-fuel_28.html
