Pin
Grrrr, I was hoping I would post this :-D Old rule of scale modelling in action - once one starts building a vacuform someone announces an injection kit - I'm half way through Sanger's Starship. Buran and Komet seem quite tempting
kev67
1/72 TU-134, is on my list, I suppose I better start saving
Pin
Tu-134 - how could I miss it Yak-40 and Tu-14 in 1:72 and Mrya in 1:144 are also very welcome. The history however shows that the mere fact that a kit is announced in AModel's catalogue does not mean it will be released soon.

Pin
Yeah. Two modifications - see the bottom of this page, both sides of Do-X: http://scalemodels.ru/images/2013/02/1360006547_02.jpg Edited February 5, 2013 by Pin

pigsty
Is that a 1/72 scale Spruce Goose (H4) and Do X...Both already available. I've seen the Do X and it's quite something. The hull looks like a pair of wellingtons.
Giorgio N
Love the Tradewind although I guess it will be in the A-monsters line with fibreglass fuselage. The XB-60 is another interesting (and large...) choice ! I have a soft spot for Amodel kits, they are not the easiest to build but IMHO offer a lot
Pin
Do-X is overpriced IMHO. By no means it should be more expensive than this: http://www.sky-stars.com/DO-X.htm
pigsty
On Amonsters, I've found the official UK price to be something between a suggestion and a fantasy. You can find them a lot cheaper on Hobbyterra, and I've managed an even better price via eBay.
Pin
I usually buy then from Ukraine or Russia where they are the cheapest. Re-checked a couple of my favourite suppliers - the cheapest Do-X costs 1516 UAH - that is about £113 (without postage and custom charges) - I'm taking my words back - it's a reasonable price Edited February 5, 2013 by Pin

Killingholme
Wow, a 1/72 YB-60! Cool aircraft, but blimey that's going to cost a pretty penny. Wonder why no one has done a conversion kit for the Monogram B-36 instead! Wonder how long it will take Amodel to start addressing those Tupolev developmental aicraft that connected the TU-4 to the TU-95? I'm thinking TU-80/ 85. If they can do an American YB-60, they should address some equivalent designs from the motherland! Will
