PoppaMoomin
This my attempt at painting up the Moebius Seaview interior. I added lights from the model railway store and some very basic wiring, everything designed to run from a dolls house adaptor and socket. Additions to the crew were from the Revell Visible UBoat which were darn close to the scale Moebius used.
PoppaMoomin
You get a very decent interior "cockpit" with this first Seaview. Edited February 1, 2013 by PoppaMoomin
PoppaMoomin
More from the interior, apart from adding the extra figures and lighting very much OOB. Most of the painting was guided by the DVDs currently easily obtained. Excuse the level of painting talent or lack of it, I once decided that 1/35th was the absolute smallest scale that I would attempt to paint a figure....these are tiny. PoppaMoomin
A rather large assembly, you need a big working area.
Madhatter
That's really well done!! But can u actually see any of this once it's done? There don't appear to be any Windows, or are they just not visible at the angle of the photos?
PoppaMoomin
Yes you are right, a great deal is hidden once its all glued up tight. I know guys who have done full interiors with 100% hidden! The joy of doing it is in knowing that its there, it doesn't have to make sense
