AnonymousDFB1
Well the kit finally arrived from my good friend Lloyd in Arkansas, it took 20 days to get here, I guess it was held up by all the snow we had in the UK the other week. So no more dallying it's time to start. First the obligatory box top and sprue shots Lloyd had snipped a few parts from the sprue and put the wing halves together but she is well within the 25% limit. I'll be starting as per the instructions with the seat and cockpit Edited February 2, 2013 by Mish

AnonymousDFB1
Okay, I've come to a decision with this one, I can't stand the thought of building this OOB and knowing that Hasegawa mucked up with the decals so I have ordered myself these aggressor decals from DXM Decals. $15-90 inc shipping so not too bad and I'll probably will be doing the green one

AnonymousDFB1
Thanks guys, and today's progress. Cockpit all together 'Dummy' turbine blades Intakes Fuselage together Mike Mcellaney and Lloyd King kindly told me that the intakes on this kit a a 'nose down' appearance. On the real aircraft the AoA of the intakes can be varied. As I plant to display this model stationary the intakes need to be parallel to the ground/fuselage. In order to achieve this I position the intakes in the correct position thus leaving a small gap. This I partially filled with plasticard Sanded More soon and thanks for looking.
