Plasticbutcher
I really like this build, came across the wreck of one of these a few years back in the Red Sea Desert and have meant to build one since but never got round to it. Yours is most impressive.

starfighter84
First of all, thank you very much for your kindly comments! Very nice, though I do seem to remember reading somewhere, that the early MFs couldn't carry tanks and missiles in combination. Could be wrong though. W I did some research about the loadout configuration of my Fishbed. According to the 4+ pubblications, the Mig-21 could carry 3 fuel tanks and two Atolls indeed. Very nice....great work. I've never seen the fuel tanks in the outer stations. Is it ok? . Anyway.....congratulations. Very very very nice job. There are many images of Mig-21 with fuel tanks on the outer stations. Polish Fishbed often used this configuration, for example. Fantastic finish! Just wondering what brand of paint you used and what colours? Cheers Richard. Thank you Richard! do you recognize the color of the cockpit? I took inspiration from your valuable suggestion! thank you!! http://studiogekko.blogspot.it/2011/04/eduard-mig-21-cockpit-colour.html In my case I preferred to fade the cockpit color with any drops of flat white. The other camouflage colors are: Sand - 60 drops of XF-59 Tamiya + 65 drops of XF-55 Tamiya. Light Blue - Gunze H-65 + Flat White 1:1. Light Green - Gunze H-340. Black Green - Gunze H-69. Hope this information will be useful.
