Paul Bradley
First completion of the year is this 1/48 Inpact kit of the 1911 Martin Handasyde, part of their "Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines" series. Built OOB, but with Aeroclub elastic thread for the rigging and handmade decals. I intend to replace the kit's clear plastic wheels with some PE spokes, but they haven't arrived as yet. Anyways, the finished article: This was completed as part of a Secret Santa GB over at UAMF: http://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=226&t=5573 Edited January 27, 2013 by Paul Bradley

Ossian
Mmmm.... lovely And makes me want to watch the film again I always did wonder about the safety aspects of sitting in a low backed chair on top of the fuselage...
Paul Bradley
...without any sort of restraint......me, too, Ossian! Cheers, guys, I appreciate it! It was a fun build; it gives me confidence to tackle some of the other Inpact kits - though the Avro Triplane might be the last one I get to.....! andy wood
I was building one of these a few weeks ago. i was happily rigging it when the wing spars just...crumbled!! I know it was an old kit, but that should'nt happen!
