Revell 1:72 P-47D

Recommended Posts

I have recently discovered a 'passion' for P-38's, P-47's and P-51's.

When I saw this GB was happening I just had to join in as it gave me an excuse to build another one of the above. :yahoo:

With the P-51 well catered for, I looked at the P-47 kits I have.

"Balls Out" a P-47 D30-RA was flown by Capt. Milton W. Thompson of the 509th Fighter Squadron, 405th Fighter Group.

As you are no doubt aware, Revell make a kit with these decals, so here is my build..........

Thanks Les.

Sorry it's been a while since I have posted.

There's not much to show as you lot probably know more about the Revell P-47 than I do.

So, just a shot of part of the tub....

Sorry for the lack of updates.

I got carried away with wanting to get the decals on the build, even though all the painting wasn't finished.

Here is how she looked several days ago.
