vivkulan
Thanks Vivkulan, just ask any questions and I would be happy to help with your projects Mike Chameleon , All I have is the desire to learn to paint like you . Other than that I don't even know where to start, 1.What books to read for techniques, 2.what tools and paints are needed, and 3.where to buy figures from etc. I primarily build A/C and ships. I am very fond of Russian and Soviet subjects.I know there are very detailed figures I have seen . I will be grateful if you point me in the right direction. I understand you haven't reached this skill level overnight. You must have gone through lots of trial and errors. Regards
chameleon2009
Go to my webb site and have alook at what I have built, these have only been done since Febuary 2012, but gives you and Idea of what you can do. I have discriptions of what I have used as well. Ok lets look at this, you get the kit and I will do you a tutorial as you build, and help you through the build, if you can only buy bits, then thats fine ,its not a race, so dony rush 1. pick a tank in 1/35 scale lets say T34 if your up for that, or one of your choice, but ww2 as there are lots of kits and add ons for this time period. 2. Get your self a reference book on the tank you pick 3. tool wise scalpe/ twezzers/ mini drills/ liquid glue/supper glue 4. spray gun if you go here you can purchase what you need http://www.scalemodelshop.co.uk tell them I sent you Teacher Mike

Thanks for the info. I pretty much have all the tools you mentioned above including an airbrish. I have built BMP-1 , T-80 etc before and I have DML T-62 kit ready to be built, But I lack the knowledge of Figure painting and Diorama making in 1/35 scale or any other larger scales. Also I live in the States. Are there any good books you follow for Figure painting tutorials Thanks a lot for your help Vivek
