raif
The Airfix 1/72 Angel Interceptor, this is a bit of an inbetweeny for me before I make a start on the lovely Airfix 1/72 F-51D, which I had for Christmas and has jumped way up the 'to do' queue! anyway I had fun making this Angel so here it is, I decided to make her look a bit grubby after intensive combat ops against the Mysterons! BritJet
Looks good, did you sharpen the tip of the nose as I'm sure mine looks blunter than yours. Steve

David Womby
Looks really good. The weathering makes it look like something Meddings and crew built!. David Edited January 16, 2013 by David Womby
HL-10
You've done a lovely job there! The weathering really looks good I don't know if you are aware, but the small strakes above the nose winglets were added by Airfix when the converted theoriginal molds to "Snap Fix", and were only there to form an attachment for the nose cone, the studio models never featured them. raif
Yes thanks I was aware the strakes should'nt be there but in plan view they looked quite good so I left them! Quite fancy building another Sci Fi kit of some sort now, in between my real modelling!
