Parabat
Interesting... No A-6's for ages then three in close succession! Wonder how it will compare to the Kinetic offerings? There's only one way to find out....

Homebee
Sprues pics Source: http://www.filscalemodels.ph/testshots/hba6a/hba6a.html HobbyBoss 1:48 A-6A Intruder - test shot The kit comes in 13 main sprues molded in light gray plastic (4 of them for the various ordnance and drop tanks), 1 clear sprue for the canopy/navigation lights, 3 pieces of well-casted metal parts for the landing gear struts, and 1 photo-etch fret for the seat belts and misc. cockpit parts. A modeler who has recently purchased Trumpeter's 1/32 offering may notice that this is somewhat a scaled-down version. Of note is that the kit comes with plastic tires instead of the usual Hobby Boss vinyl offering. This is welcome news to most modelers. Thank you Hobby Boss for listening. No decals nor instruction booklet is supplied with the test shot. V.P. Edited August 14, 2013 by Homebee
Parabat
Sweet.... Where can I sign up?! Hopefully it's got similar fit and detail to the F-14D I'm currently building, if so, I'll flog my Kinetic box.

colin ritchie
Looks like a 100% scale down of the trumpeter 1/32 kit It certainly does, minus the engines , and some of the nose based avionics, looks to be a decent kit , now whether its better than Kinetic, or Revell.. well I'll let others decide, . Mark
I've always loved the A-6 and wanted a good 1/48th kit for along time. This video has, of course, nothing to do with my attraction to the A-6...

Arniec
I want one too! I am working on the Kinetic version and Boy that thing isn't easy to build. I wish someone would make a vac-form canopie for that kit. Cheers,
DIO
This bird, has most of what it takes to open the engine. And having built and molded the engine for my A-4N, this is so tempting. Actually, I just moved to Sydney, so I do not yet have a permanent address. Otherwise, I would have already ordered it. But Kintetic is not that bad either. It is buildable...
