Scarlet
Hasegawa 1/48 F-15 with Superscale decals, to be finished as an F-15C of the 173 FW. I might use the new Caracal Models decal sheet if it arrives in time.

Scarlet
I've been wanting to make a start on my Oregon ANG trio (F-4C, F-16ADF and F-15C) for a while and this GB has given me the shove I needed.

Scarlet
Feeling a bit fragile today after a works do last night, so kick off has been delayed by 24 Hrs.
Scarlet
And we're off! Slightly delayed due to work getting in the way, but I've made a start. Â Â Â Â Â Cockpit primed and instrument painting started. Got a half day tomorrow so I should be able to crack on a bit.

Scarlet
It's an empty tin (honest!) that I use to flush my airbrush into.
Stinger 9
Work getting in the way of modelling is the biggest issue for us modellers. Ok, SWMBO also falls into that category. Monty

SaintsPhil
Coming on nicely! I've just traded for a Hasegawa C, to hopefully make a Baz so it's good to know the OOB pit can look decent!

mark73
Great job on the pit. Is that just standard matt black around the HUD or is it a NATO black?
DaveJL
looking well thus far! Dave
Scarlet
Nato black. I'll give it another coat before the windscreen goes on.
geedubelyer
Probably the best tail art of any Eagle in the USAF. Great choice of markings. She'll look superb.

Scarlet
Next update: - Intakes and fuselage built up and a bit of filler on the join. I did take more photos but formatted the wrong card and lost them Main fuselage sanded and lost panel lines re-scribed. Wings attached and now being left for 24 hrs to set. A bit of clean up to do on the wing to fuselage joints, then it'll be time to fit the front fuselage.
Dan
Coming along nicely.
Scarlet
A bit more done, front fuselage attached, seams cleaned up and a coat of Halfords primer applied to check my fettling. Made a start on shading the natural metal areas at the back end. The camera flash has picked up on the base silver and makes it look brighter than it actually is. I'll try a longer exposure without the flash next time.

Scarlet
Back to it after a weeks enforced lay off due to Emodels fast and efficient service being nothing of the sort! Yesterday I bit the bullet and drove to Chester and got the bits I needed from Modelzone. While I was waiting the primer was micromeshed ready for the first of the greys. Lighter grey sprayed onto the upper fuselage. Lower fuselage next, photo later.
