The old boxes should not be left on the shelf.

This one was build OOB. Price in UK pounds 4,50

Remarkeble for some reasons:

1. American build aircraft in Britisch FAA service in the post war era.

2. Given under MDAP conditions to the UK MOD

3. Used under war conditions in the already named Suez crisis.

Regards, Dirk, The Netherlands.

were skyraiders done in 1/72?

Yes - Magna Models do a 1:72 scale resin RN Skyraider. PM Chris 57 as he can get them/has got them.

Very nice job there. I had one but sold it on, I would not have got round to it so better to pass it to someone who would build it.

Great job. I, too, had no idea the RN flew Skyraiders. Yet one more role for the Flying Dump truck.

Hi Dirk. Congratulation on your Skyraider build, it looks magnificent, thanks for sharing it.

I've got one of these and I've considered kitbashing it with a Tamiya Skyraider just so I can benefit from a little better detailing in spots. But honestly, Esci didn't do a bad job at all with the original kit.

Your build looks great BTW!
