Hawker Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc. Hasegawa+MDC+Aires....

Recommended Posts

And old build indeed, but very good looking. This kit was built by my brother back in 2001, using the Hasegawa 1/48 scale kit with some added aftermarket parts. He used the MDC conversion set plus a modified Aires engine. Hope you'l like it..

Cheers....

looks brilliant, and familiar. is it possible that it has been featured in a "Wingmaster" when it was just built?

Hi Artie

I saw this at Telford a few years back when I got back into modelling and it really inspired me to try my hand again. Still got the pics on my mobile.

It looked better in the flesh, best model there that year imho.

It is what I based my Sea Hurricane on.

Totally awesome best Hurricane I have seen, ever!

Thank you very much for your comments, I'll tell them to my brother.....

The kit took some time to be finished, as my brother paid great attention to smaller detaisl...wich in fact was a problem, because he found new pics every day, and had to correct already built details.

He took the kit to Telford, that's right, and had a trophy, but can't remember wich one. It was also featured at Wing Masters. It's a very detailed kit that is now lurking at the cabinet. I've been asking them to come back to modelling, but no way.....

Best regards....
