Julien
I see ZM now have the UHU on pre-order. http://www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/index.html I must say 1.32 is not really my thing but after seeing this at Telford I really could be tempted The standard of kit engineering I saw was first class. Apparently if you pre-order then you get both resin crew members thrown in as well. If anyone want a better look then one of the guys over on the SP&R forums is building a test shot. http://sparforums.com/ipb/index.php?/topic/2642-132-zoukei-mura-heinkel-he-219a-0/ Rumors of them doing a 1.32 Typhoon have caused my wallet to go into hiding Julien
Shar2
It certainly looked amazing at Telford, and as much as I like the model it's not really my chosen genre, but the Raiden, due out in April is a must have.
ROGERD
I too,was sorely tempted by this at telford, but as I have the revell kit , I,ll have to pass on this one, the raiden however is a differnt, as the last post says its a must have! where did the rumour of a typhoon come from, have not heard that before, I have the MDC kit in the stash so I won,t be tempted- unless they mean a tempest! Heraldcoupe
where did the rumour of a typhoon come from, have not heard that before, I have the MDC kit in the stash so I won,t be tempted- unless they mean a tempest! http://www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/sentiment/otr_ipmsRepo2_03.html I was a bit dismissive of the whole Zoukei-Mura concept until SMW last year. They won me over completely, not least in terms of their enthusiasm. Having since seen some of the issues which are emerging about the Revell kit, Zoukei-Mura's He219 is beginning to look even more appealing, Cheers, Bill. It's really not nitpicking, once I'd seen the problems, I couldn't un-see them. The kit went from a "must have" to "only if it's in the bargain bin" on my wants list. Cheers, Bill. Just been through those threads. I was considering that Revell kit, but after seeing that little lot... well I don't fancy that much sawing about and like Heraldcoupe said above, once seen it cannot be un-seen. That ZM kit looks a bit tasty though. Pistons included in the engines... mental (but in a good way ).
Julien
Wow some serious kit bashing going on with that kit. Still I suppose the ZM kit and the Revell kit will appeal to totally different markets. A lot will just build the Revell kit OOB without worring about it. Others will go the ZM route. Room I think in the market for both. Julien

ice35
Sorry ZM looks nice but far too expensive for me and i like my Revell one it looks like a HE 219 thats all that matters to me. Richard

Yes, and it took a few dozen pages of major flaws for the OP to finally state he lost his motivation to correct this build... How could this have possibly happened?
