Gizmo
Hi everyone, I will be building the Revell of Germany Mosquito fit. I plan on correcting the known issues with the landing gear and the prop. spinners. I picked up the recent release of the old Revell Mosquito with Canadian decals and correct gear and spinners. I'll kit bash the 2 kits to make an accurate version of the Mossie. I have also ordered the Big Ed PE and mask set from Hannants. Once I recieve the Big Ed set I'll be able to start building. Gizmo
To my surprise the Big Ed PE set arrived today. 6 days after I ordered it from Hannants it is in my hands here in Canada. Thanks Hannants! Now I can get started on the build.
racedees
Good luck with this one. What do you think of the Big Ed set? Personaly I had greater expectations of it. For an example I expected some engine detail.
Gizmo
I haven't had the chance to go through the Big Ed set yet but yes I agree that is disapointing not to have the engine details. This will be a challenge for me since I have limited experience with PE. I am looking forward to it though.
Gizmo
Off to a slow start. It has been a very long time since I have work with photo etch so this may take some time. I managed to get the pilots seat together tonight.
