Uncle Navy Bird's Complete Waste of Time 2012

Hi mates,

Here are all the models I finished in 2012. Seven kits in 12 months - that's a little less than two months each, time that I will never be able to get back. Unless, of course, time spent modelling is not deducted from your life span. If that's the case, I will be posting this kind of stuff for another 75 years or so.

Very impressive body of work, Bill.

I found your build of the Trumpeter Frightening (theres an appropriate term!) very instructive. The Buccanneer was pretty cool but believe it or not i really like the Zero. Something about the orange yellow undersides make it very eye catching.

As for me, one model done. Resolving to not start any new projects till i clear away some of the stuff from my Shelf of Doom.

Cheers,

d-bot

You know Bill, when I look at yours models I really think I am 'wasting' my time because they'll never look as good as those. And you don't have to put the paint pots in there to remind me their 1/72 that's just rubbing salt into the wound. Great builds

Superb Bill! A stunning display of time wasting!

All fab builds but that Lightning takes it for me - great re-work and the best squadron scheme worn by them (except maybe 111sqn!)

Hope to see more time wasted this year!

cheers

Rick.

Excellent builds Bill, one and all, quality over quantity I reckon. What I hope to achieve with my own builds someday.

Great stuff,

Sean
