Mozzy19
Small update today, got most of the interior painted, and because I don't have access to that weird Russian green blue colour, it has been painted using xtracrylix intermediate blue. I have also cut out the troop door on the left fuselage (I don't know what port and starboard is other than the former being a strong alcoholic drink....) Anyway, on to the pics, Unfinished cockpit, and cabin Left fuselage half Right half The cut out left troop door and on of the cmk resin pieces Next update soon. heloman1
Hi Mozzy, Lookin' good, I'm going to follow your build thread with interest, always liked the Hind, I'm looking at an Algerian Mi-35. Colin
Mozzy19
The kit would be better if it had engraved panel lines, but considering its from a mould from 1986 it's not bad.
Mozzy19
Update time (again), put a wash on the interior, Then I joined the fuselage together, However gaps appeared, mostly around the intakes and nose although the nose was pushed apart from by the cmk replacement part. Intakes, Nose, Updates will probably slow down now, may have one tomorrow but if not should have one next Friday. Hawkkeeper
(I don't know what port and starboard is other than the former being a strong alcoholic drink....) Port = Left [red navigation light] Starboard = Right [green navigation light] so if a a/c or ships port side is used it is always the left regardless of which direction the observer [you] are viewing the a/c or ship from, same left & right applies to road vehicles too. Flying Badger
The way I remember which is which... Starboard = starbright, bright soundlike right (everything is facing forwards - if you're facing backwards you're gonna crash!) Colours: Think of Port (as in the drink).... its a red colour........ Mozzy19
No progress this week, revision for AS exams. I have a question, you can just about see in the last picture of my update, that the cmk plug didn't fit well and is not even at all. So how would I fix this, use miliput or try and prise open the fuselage and remove the plug and put it back in better positioned? Next update will probably be in 2 weeks after geography exam. Cheers, Sean. Edited January 13, 2013 by Mozzy19

Mozzy19
This shows the problem better, ignoring the Grand Canyon above the insert (that part is easily fixed) I've also since decided it will be done in a white UN scheme of the Ukrainian Air Force.
