Stuart91
a straight out the box diorama, used a small tile piece of fake turf i got from work, the base was given me, just mounted the tile piece onto it. the spitfire is the help for heroes edition kit Mk.Va as flown by Sir Douglas Bader with the 'D' and 'B' on the side of the spit, the figures are revells 48th scale WWII RAF pilots and a few ICM figures i had lying around from another kit, looked very effective for such a low cost diorama, not bad for something i managed to squeeze in between doing my GCSE's at school back when i was sixteen 5 years ago enjoy

Miggers
Another one of those "Somewhere in England, our fighter pilots get ready for another sortie" sort of jobs. Nice clean Spit as befits a high-ranking type too with plenty to look at. "Get this aircraft ready at the double you men"

Stuart91
"never in the field of human conflict, was so much owed by so many to so few" is what should be printed on a brass plate on the base really, havent got around to doing it yet

DB flew the Va well after the B of B. You need a 242 Sqn Hurricane to really do that quote justice for DB.

HOUSTON
The diorama is wonderful. With so much activity going on, one is drawn to the different characters and their movement. Wondrous work..
Tango Fox
Love to see models "come alive" like this instead of sat on a tablecloth. Puts it in a place and time we can relate to and be part of. Superb.
