Bonhoff
So here we are - The first of my entries into the KUTA Groupbuild. Purchased for the massive sum of 4 from the local TK Maxx and assembled during my lunchtimes at work. Main hull and gubbins completed and airbrushed with vallejo acrylics and then put in a box as the "Link and Length" tracks scared me - My last 1:35th armour model was built about 30 years ago and they had the now derided "Rubber Band" type tracks. Anyway - a couple of pictures taken at my desk at work. Progress pictures to follow.... Edited January 11, 2013 by Bonhoff

Bonhoff
And following some activity over the christmas holidays this is how it looks now Used a basic Citadel Earth wash which went on a bit too thick and wouldn't all wipe off again - Followed by several thin washes of vallejo desert yellow to try and moderate it a bit. I'm hoping that another light airbrushed misting of desert yellow/beige will tone it down further. It's almost cartoonish at the moment... Then there are the tracks.... As it happened - It wasn't quite as scary as I imagined but I'm full of admiration for you armour modellers who build up their tracks link by link. There weren't quite enough links to go all the way around so I've only put them where they'll be visible outside the skirts.
Ghostbase
Well you have my utmost respect, that is a nice job sir I also obtained one of these from T K Maxx, was intended to be my first ever 1:35th armour model (I did make quite a few 1/72nd WW2 tanks 35 years ago) but it ended up being recycled with much frustration! Bonhoff
And here it is - Completed and photographed. Then I discovered, while clearing through the sprues, that I hadn't added the little shovel to the front. Now sorted!
