Peter Marshall Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Well it's done - an Interesting kit, not bad fitting but overly fiddly in places, and I really wish Great Wall Hobbies learnt that wing spars are a good idea. Their masks don't work very well, the vinyl is too thick and not sticky enough. The Work in Progress thread is available here Peter 2
Andy K Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Very very nice! I've been looking forward to seeing this one finished and I'm not disappointed, cracking job!
Vulcanicity Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 That's a gorgeous model Peter, it came out beautifully! I particularly like the care that's gone into the weathering to represent an aircraft on a muddy forward base. Super stuff!
sean Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Very nice Peter, cracking job with the paint and weathering,. How's the eyes after putting the masking on those windows!!? Sean
Parabat Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Nice work, looks good. The weathering is top notch. Are the underwing crosses aligned correctly though?
Radleigh Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 . Are the underwing crosses aligned correctly though? I thought that? Cracking build though.
Michaelvk Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 That's awesome! Such a wonderfully weird looking aircraft.
