Adam Maas
I've been following this GB for a bit, I don't normally build a lot of Luftwaffe stuff but I've had an itch to build some 109's of late and another to do some quarter inch stuff (I normally build 1/72), so I picked up Eduard's lovely 109E-1 Weekend Edition kit and will be doing the box markings.Eduard Bf109E-1 1/48 by mawz_models, on Flickr Edited February 10, 2013 by Adam Maas

Adam Maas
Looking great, never built an eduard kit, hows the fit? Aside from the engine/cowl the fit is brilliant, Tamiya-level but with superior surface detail. Unfortunately Eduard designed the kit to display the gorgeous engine & gun installation, so getting it together with the cowl on requires some fiddling & fettling and doesn't quite match the rest of the kit for fit (of course if you do build it cowl-off the fit is superb up there)
Adam Maas
And here it is with paint. Just a few touch ups, decals and the fiddly bits left Eduard Messerschmitt Bf109E-1 1/48 by mawz_models, on Flickr
