gmsphoto
Is there any aftermarket paddle blades available for the hasegawa Lancaster tallboy. My dad just bought it for me for xmas and I know that it has pointy blades. I read somewhere that the tail wheel is the wrong size. Any other details needed corrected. Cheers Graeme
Harry Lime
Aeroclub did a set I think, as did Paragon in some of their conversion sets but I'm not sure if they were available seperately. Mark.

matthies
Graeme, If you're modelling ED763, as per the Hasegawa kit decals, you won't need paddle blade props, as that particular Lanc had needle point props. Dave.
gmsphoto
It is thumper 3/dv385 I am doing . Did she have pointy blades?
clift
Doesn't the Hasegawa kit come with both needle and prop? or was it only their initial release Mk.I / Mk.III kits?
gmsphoto
No the tallboy kit just comes with the pointy blades. I will need to look for some reference pics probably from the iwm. Can only find pics of the bbmf thumper 3 and a close up of the nose art.
clift
I read somewhere that the tail wheel is the wrong size. Any other details needed corrected... Resin Art #7314 comes with main wheels (treaded) and 2 different styles of tail wheel. Hope this helps.
