SeanM
Just announced on the Airfix site, to go with their recent Afganistan range: Quad & Crew and PE for the existing range of kits. No dates yet though Pity it's not 1/35, but better than nothing.... Edited December 19, 2012 by SeanM
Malcolm Shaw
Hats off to Airfix. Great news although one in 1/35 would be nice, too. Malc.

Tornado
Herrick of a surprise! Would be nice to see this range expand over the coming years. Adrian Very much agree. It's a cracking range at the moment only to be made better no doubt. What would you guys like to see in the Herrick range ? Personally a couple of 1/12 figures and a equipment set for the 1/48 stuff and maybe even an enemy set

Radpoe Spitfire
Just announced on the Airfix site, to go with their recent Afganistan range: Quad & Crew and PE for the existing range of kits. No dates yet though Pity it's not 1/35, but better than nothing.... :hmmm:I thought the title mean't the wartime artilliary tractor of the same name. When I found out it wasn't I must admit I was a little dissapointed, but that said the modern ones are great fun.
SeanM
Sorry Radpoe, but it is in the "modern" section! ;-) And yes, cross-country on a real quad is great fun! Was sueprised how fast they can go...
Inso
It doesn't say how many Quad bikes/trailers you get in the kit (it mentions 8 figures but doesn't specify what)... does anyone happen to have any 'insider' information on the subject? Hopefully it will be four Quads with trailers...
Inso
...and the answer is 2 quad bikes, 2 trailers and the 8 troops/crew. A nice man from Airfix told me
moosequito
The quads in 1/48 will go well with a chinook to make a cracking MERT diorama.
