The tools for large plastic kit parts are now also so far. Soon the Test Shots run on ....... V.P. ..
Homebee
Source: http://www.mpmkits.eu/2015/12/the-tempest-molds-rise-from-their-bath.html The Tempest molds rise from their bath... Just like the mythological Phoenix rose from the ashes, so do the Tempest molds rise from the galvanizing baths. There is still a lot to be done and everyone is working on them - both in the studio and in the tool room . The moulds are being cleaned, polished, put together and submitted to further treatments. For the Tempest Mk.V, there will be a total of six galvanized moulds, including one for the canopies which has already been finished. There are also three milled moulds. But that's a story for some other time. V.P. Edited December 10, 2015 by Homebee
tonyot
Thanks for the update and nice to know that you are still making progress on this kit which should prove to be very popular indeed,........but probably not as popular as your proposed 1/48th Beaufort!!
