Giorgio N
The Fw.190 is quite interesting, a cheap and easily available A4 has been missing for a long time ! Wonder if it will be in the same series as the Bf-109F ? Is the Stuka new or is it an Italeri rebox ?

Wonder if it will be in the same series as the Bf-109F ? Is the Stuka new or is it an Italeri rebox ? Yes, Fw-190 and Ju-87 will be the same type as Yak-3 and Bf-109F in 72 - snap tie kits - the text in the corner states this. Also, Fw-190 has been promised for two years now.. I presume Stuka will appear in about three...

As the previous Yak and Bf.109 were good models even if simplified, I hope the FW.190 will finally arrive this year !
Francis Macnaughton
I tried looking on the Russian site but couldn't see where these pictures were posted. Did they announce any military or naval items by any chance?

Pin
Zvezda launches "Ultimate Kit" series. As they claim, "Ultimate Kits" will be intended for advanced modellers and offer extra level of detailing options such as separate flaps, interceptors etc. Intriguing, very intriguing. modelldoc
You have seen, all text on these pictures is russian. Zvesda make a only Russia programme and an export programme. So the Tu-95 (from Revell) is only for Russia. All the new "Ultimate kits" not on show at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. So we must wait for more information in the future. modelldoc

So the Tu-95 (from Revell) is only for Russia. It's not a secret that Russia is the primary market for Zvezda. That does not mean that one can not buy their repacks abroad, but why would you want Revell's "Bear" in Zvezda box if you can easily buy the original? All the new "Ultimate kits" not on show at the Nuremberg Toy Fair.Of course as they don't exist in plastic yet. general melchett
Definitely going to get the Topol, ( just hope it's not too basic as it's a snap fit !). Quite fancy the IL62 too, hmmm.....looks like a good year for us Soviet loving types....
Flankerman
Definitely going to get the Topol, ( just hope it's not too basic as it's a snap fit !). That caught my eye too - I'm glad I talked myself out of getting the Armory kit I really fancied it - but 207 Euros was a bridge too far..... modelldoc
The Topol, kit number 5003, is annouced as "My first model kit" and also with the sign: "Snap fit no glue required" The lenghth is 31,5 cm. So, Ithink it will be a good basic for a kit. modelldoc
general melchett
Ken and modelldoc, couldn't agree more..thought about shelling out for the Armoury kit myself.......I'm sure this one can be bashed into shape though, (hopefully the AM guys will come to the rescue)......
